Aug 7th: Schedule Walk

- Details: Stop by the PTO table in the cafeteria to meet the board and get all the details on how to get involved at Rogers this year!
Aug 12th: First Day of School
- Details: Welcome back Rogers families!
Aug 27th: PTO Meet & Greet
- Time: 11:00 AM

- Details: Let’s get to know each other! This is a great opportunity to meet other Rogers parents, learn more about ways to get involved at the school, make new connections and catch up with old friends!
Sep 5th: Annual FUNdraiser Registration Opens
Goals: We have only ONE fundraiser each year, so we have to make it count!
The goal is to raise enough funds to support all 1,700 students at Rogers Student Events like the Fall Celebration, Student School Day Surprises throughout the year, the Spring Event, and supplies for advanced student learning. We also support 150 faculty and staff members with appreciation events throughout the year.
Details: Your student will register for UpTempo at home or during their advisory period. They will need contact information for any potential donors in order to complete their registration. Each donor will be contacted through the UpTempo platform with the opportunity to donate!
All you have to do is provide names and email addresses of donors who want to support Rogers and your student will be eligible for fun prizes and events at the school! Look for more details in a parent letter that will be sent to your email from the school.
Sep 16th: IT Professionals Day

Sep 17th: Sonic Spirit Night
- Time: 4:00 to 8:00 PM
- Location: Sonic, 150 N. Preston Rd. Prosper, TX
- Details:
- 1. Download this flyer.
- 2. Visit Sonic in Prosper between 4 and 8 PM on September 17th.
- 3. Press the red button.
- 4. Say “I’m here for the Rogers Middle School fundraiser.” This will signal the Sonic team to hit the “Fundraiser Night” button, which will then be reflected on guests’ receipts. We calculate total funds raised based on receipt tickets.
- 5. Order food/drinks.
- 6. When the carhop brings the order, show your flyer!
Sep 17th: PTO General Meeting
- Time: 9:00 to 10:00 AM
- Location: Rogers Middle School Library
- Details: We will discuss upcoming events and initiatives, vote on any changes to the budget or bylaws, and hear from school admin about what’s happening at Rogers!

Sep 26th: Wildcat Palooza!
- Time: Immediately after school until 5:30 PM
- Location: Football practice field
- Details: We can’t wait to host this year’s Wildcat Palooza Party! Admission is FREE and students will get to hang out with friends, take photos, play some fun games, and find out who won our fundraiser contest prizes! One lucky FUNdraiser participant will be picked to throw the first ball at the Dunk Tank!
- We will also have Kona Ice and concessions available for purchase including pizza, drinks, and sweet treats! Be sure to send your student with cash that day if they plan to purchase any concessions.

Details: Take the day off from the kitchen and stop by Chick-fil-A for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and mention Rogers when you order and our school receives 20% of the cost of your order!

Nov 7th: Veteran's Breakfast
- Time: 9:00 AM
- Location: Rogers Cafeteria
- Details: This event is led by the Rogers counseling staff in partnership with the PTO for volunteer and supplies assistance. Students who would like to honor a Veteran member of their family can submit information about their Veteran to the school and that Veteran will be invited to the breakfast to enjoy donuts, drinks, and a special program! More details will come from the school as the date of the event approaches.
